Tim Rowe
Tim served a formal apprenticeship with Appledore Shipbuilders and qualified as a master shipwright in 1977. From marine equipment manufacturing, boatyard management, advanced composites and CE Certification, Tim has been accumulating knowledge and experience across the yachting sector. This background provided the solid foundation for the launch of his surveying business in 1995.
Tim is an acknowledged expert in steel and traditional timber construction and has a proven track record in problem-solving and solution finding.

Germán Martínez
Germán started working with us in 2021. German has 10 years of experience in the nautical sector and is a key member of the surveying team.
Germán runs our IT systems and is working on various software projects to help streamline our operations and improve our communication with customers, suppliers and subcontractors. He is also developing Apps to further improve our agility.
Germán works extensively with insurance claim investigations and certification.

Marcus Bellatti
Marcus is a retired captain, having covered many thousands of miles around the globe in both power and sail. Based in the UK, Marcus brings sharp focus to every project with his attention to detail and his drive for the best outcome.
Marcus has far reaching expertise with the Maritime Labour Convention requirements, Seafarers Employment Agreements, IMO regulations and provides close support to our MCA certification services.
Marcus has extensive business experience and plays a key role in our research and business development.

John Walker
John came out of Ulster University with a TEC Nautical Studies in 1983 and went straight to sea as a Deck Officer in the Merchant Navy. After gathering countless miles at sea, including seven Transatlantics on yachts, John came ashore to work a Technical Supervisor for Sunseeker Germany. With this wealth of experience his surveying career took off in 2003 with thousands of surveys to his credit.
John’s specialities are Systems Analysis and Troubleshooting which he carries out with forensic attention to detail.

Team Associate

Andreas Pfahler
Andreas prepared for his career with the renowned Mechanical Engineering School Ansbach, Germany leading to his title of Master Engineer. It would be hard to have a better background to his skills as an engine and gearbox specialist.
Andreas has an encyclopaedic knowledge of engines, transmission systems and their controls and maintains rigorous ongoing training with leading manufacturers. With Andreas as an associate team member, our machinery surveys and investigations are the best on offer.
Who else has an engineer onboard who looked after the engines of the Phantom F4 aircraft
